GOJI Vegan Hotel is a family run business. Our family has a long-standing tradition in tourism and has been welcoming guests from all around the world for decades. With the hotel handed over to the new generation, who follows a vegan way of life, it became apparent that the accommodation had to adopt a more sustainable approach in terms of design and management.
This is when the GOJI journey began. GOJI’s Vegan Hotel renovation is based on two key principles; reuse and recycling, with an aim to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. This has been achieved by refurbishing and repurposing some of the hotel’s original equipment or by introducing smart appliances that minimise the environmental impact.
We have installed a range of solar panels to take advantage of the sunny weather and heat our water. A holistic approach has been set up to reduce our water consumption for example by collecting and reusing rainwater. We have a clear waste management system with dedicated recycling, and general waste bins in an effort to recycle, reuse and minimise our waste as much as possible.
